Billy Wagner is one of the best closers in baseball and now, to the joy and relief of Mets fans everywhere, he is saving games at Shea Stadium for the likes of Pedro Martinez and Tom Glavine. Before the four-time All-Star joined the Mets for the 2006 season, Wagner performed his magic for the Philadelphia Phillies and Houston Astros, saving 30 games or more six times. Wagner joined the 300 saves club on July 4, 2006, when the Mets beat the Pirates 7-6 and Wagner earned his 16th save of the season and his 300th of his career. Billy Wagner has hand signed this MLB baseball and added the inscriptions, 300th Sv, 7/4/06. A Steiner Sports Certificate of Authenticity is included.
