The St. Louis Cardinals and the Houston Astros were deadlocked at 2 games a piece going into game 5. With the series tied at 2, the scene was Minute Maid Park in Houston. With the score 0-0 in the 9th inning, MVP candidate Lance Berkman was intentionally walked to get to veteran 2B Jeff Kent. On the first pitch from All Star closer Jason Isringhausen, Jeff Kent unloaded and belted a shot off the railroad track at Minute Maid Park.
